I would argue that Amazon is it’s own little self-care hub…in it’s own little way. I derive a ton of pleasure perusing their offerings and spending all. the. money. And now that Prime Day is upon us, I’m totally making a list and checking it twice. Because, let’s face it, Amazon Prime Day is essentially a holiday, at least in my world.
To start, if you’re not a Prime member (GASP!) then I suggest getting a free 30 day trial so you can participate in Amazon Prime Day (only members get the deals!). Prime Day starts at 3pm on Monday, July 15 and will last 36 hours.
Then, it’s time to hop on over to their dedicated page and check out the deals. Many only last 24 hours and you want to be quick. Others are going on now like $30 off Certified Refurbished Kindle Paperwhites and 40% off some women’s fashion.
Download the Amazon App to get a sneak peek into Prime Day deals at the Amazon App. You will get notified when deals start by adding items to your shopping list at the app. Visit “amazon.com/app” from your mobile browser to get started.
Things to check out:
Yoga and workout gear – in fact, some items are already on sale.
Fashion Two of my favorite dresses are Amazon purchases, including the cute green number below. (I’m on the right.) They have a great selection and if you’re nervous about shopping clothes online, be sure and check out Prime Wardrobe.
Even make-up and skincare will go on sale during Prime Day. Been wanting to try that new, pricey night cream? You might just luck out. Just keep refreshing the beauty tab.
I’ve read eight books in the last three weeks and it’s been awesome. I’ll be on the lookout on the BOOKS tab to see what I can snag.
Love historical fiction? Check out these recommendations.
And if you don’t mind reading on a device, you can get a month free of Kindle Unlimited!
When I’m stressed out, there is nothing better than putting on some music. In fact, I try to have music on as much as possible – it just generally puts me in a better mood. (Or when I’m in a foul mood I listen to angry, chick rock – still makes me feel better.) As part of Prime Day celebrations, you can get 4 months of Amazon Music Unlimited for only $0.99 (regularly $7.99 per month for Prime and $9.99 for non-Prime!) It’s totally worth it!
You guys – there are so many other things that could help your Take Back Me journey — think journals and notebooks, supplements, and so much more. And feel free to find my person recommendations in my Amazon Storefront, where I share some of my favorite Amazon finds: https://www.amazon.com/shop/erinclane – think coffee mugs, books and other fun things.
Have fun shopping and let me know if you find any super awesome deals!!
